Canto USA’s Aurora™ X1 is a high-output LED followspot engineered for large theaters, arenas, auditoriums, and other demanding live-event venues. As Canto USA’s first LED arena followspot, it delivers exceptional brightness while using less than 900 watts of power. Its output exceeds that of many traditional 2,000-watt xenon followspots, giving venues a powerful, energy-efficient lighting solution that operates on standard 120-volt power.
Designed for both performance and long-term serviceability, the Aurora™ X1 features an adjustable steel carriage, a replaceable LED module, and interchangeable short, medium, and long-throw lens tubes to accommodate a wide range of venue sizes and projection distances. Its operator-focused controls and maintainable construction make it a practical replacement for aging high-wattage lamp systems, combining powerful illumination, installation flexibility, and dependable operation in one professional LED followspot.

Aurora™ X1 Long Series
Designed for arenas, stadiums, and large theaters, the Aurora™ X1 Long Series provides a focused 3.3-degree beam for throw distances of 200 feet and beyond. Its modular 6000K, 90-CRI LED system delivers powerful long-range illumination while allowing the LED engine and lens tube to be serviced, replaced, or upgraded as venue requirements change.
Aurora™ X1 Medium Series
The Aurora™ X1 Medium Series is designed for approximately 150- to 225-foot throws, making it a flexible choice for large auditoriums, theaters, arenas, and performance venues. Its 4.4-degree beam balances projection distance with a broader field, while the modular LED platform, DMX512/RDM support, color boomerang, sizing iris, and gobo capability provide professional control for varied productions.
Aurora™ X1 Short Series
Built for closer operator positions and throw distances of approximately 125 to 175 feet, the Aurora™ X1 Short Series uses a wider 5.4-degree beam to cover performers effectively in theaters, auditoriums, and other large-format venues. It retains the Aurora™ X1 family’s high-output modular LED engine, ergonomic controls, color boomerang, sizing iris, gobo insert, and heavy-duty bearing-head tripod
