The RETRO-Passive® 2.0 is the quietest option in our RETRO series. This fanless, variable-wattage LED engine delivers smooth 0-100% phase dimming with forward and reverse compatibility and a 2700K-5000K color range at 80-97 CRI. It is designed for older SCR, TRIAC, and IGBT dimming systems, while remaining compatible with newer dimmers.
Built as a direct replacement for existing lamps, RETRO-Passive® 2.0 can support new installations and retrofit projects where silence, reliability, and consistent light quality matter most. Available base and mounting options include E26, E39, PAR56, and PAR64, with custom sizes and applications available.
When absolute silence is a must, RETRO-Passive® 2.0 is an ideal fit for auditoriums, churches, arenas, museums, schools, convention centers, and concert halls.

The RETRO-Passive® 2.0 is a CSA listed retrofit kit that rapidly transforms existing inefficient incandescent fixtures into energy efficient LED fixtures. Our patented technology allows the fixture to smoothly dim from 0-100% utilizing existing dimming technology. Retrofit kits are available with a variety of options for both recessed and pendant style fixtures. Installation is as easy as changing a light bulb. Our LED technology creates even fields and delivers consistent color. The RETRO-Passive® 2.0 700 delivers more light than most 1000 watt incandescent bulbs it replaces with only a 90 watt load.
