Feiner Lichttechnik distributor Germany

Feiner Lichttechnik distributor Germany: Feiner Lichttechnik is now the exclusive distributor for Canto USA International products in Germany, giving venues, dealers, integrators, and specifiers a local source for support and product access. The agreement took effect on April 1, 2025.

Through this partnership, German customers can source Canto USA International’s professional lighting products, including the RETRO Series LED retrofit houselights and related theatrical lighting solutions. Feiner Lichttechnik continues to support Canto USA products in Germany today.

A Shared Focus on Professional Lighting

Fabiano Besio of Canto USA International said the partnership came together naturally because both companies share a similar approach to lighting, customer service, and product development.

For Feiner Lichttechnik, the partnership also reinforces its long-standing focus on energy-efficient lighting solutions for theaters, halls, and other professional venues.

“The house light and Retrofit market is a hot topic,” said Gerhard Feiner of Feiner Lichttechnik. “We were looking to expand our strength in this area, so when Fabiano introduced Canto USA International’s product portfolio, we had no doubt that this was the right product line to complete our offer in this specific and growing market segment.”

He added that the Canto USA line gives Feiner another way to provide professional houselight retrofit solutions to venues throughout Germany.

About Feiner Lichttechnik

Feiner Lichttechnik was founded in Regensburg, Germany, in 1984 and today works across Europe in stage lighting, architectural lighting, building controls, and related professional lighting systems. The company places a strong emphasis on LED technology, lighting controls, planning, and energy-efficient solutions for stages, halls, and other large spaces.

That experience makes Feiner a natural fit for the Canto USA International product range, particularly the RETRO Series updates and other retrofit products designed to upgrade existing lighting systems without a full fixture replacement.

Expanding Access to RETRO Products in Germany

The exclusive distribution agreement makes Canto USA International products easier to source and support within the German market.

Through Feiner Lichttechnik, customers can access RETRO-Fusion® 2.0, RETRO-Passive® 2.0, and other Canto USA retrofit products designed for theaters, auditoriums, houses of worship, schools, concert halls, and similar venues. Feiner’s current Canto USA product resources also include technical information, mounting options, beam-angle choices, color temperatures, and current RETRO configurations.

For customers planning an LED upgrade, having an established German distributor also provides a local point of contact for product selection, technical questions, pricing, and project planning.

What this means for German customers

Local point of contact for product selection and technical questions related to Canto USA RETRO Series retrofit options.
